Today the PPO expired.

Do I still want to talk to her? Yes.

Am I going to attempt to contact her? No.

If there is going to be any talking, it will be because she comes to me first.

Don't worry, I'm not holding my breath.

Screw bittersweet man! Anybody who just slaps a PPO on your ass should just be written off. Forget her, she doesn't deserve your memory.

My biggest thing is that I want to know why. Despite the fact that I tried to show her that I was a good person, and a worthwhile friend, I want to know why she said such horrible things about me.

I can understand curiosity, but aside from that I personally say forget it. There are really only two reasons that matter...

1 - she felt genuinely threatened by you and felt justified in making the PPO. If this is the case you shouldn't contact her anyway because she feels threatened by you and you should not be making that worse. You have no right to impose yourself on others and should not do so if this is the case.

2 - She does NOT feel threatened by you but did it for some other reason....i.e. she was annoyed at you and didn't want you to bother her anymore, or she's avoiding you and this is an easy way to ensure it, or she's vindictive and want to hurt you. So with this option, I'd say fuck her - she's a sick person and you should really stay away from her.

I also agree that it would be best to try not to give a shit from here on out, and that you should really just avoid her.
