I'm really not happy at the minute. I think its been about a decade since I was miserable enough to not even be able to force a smile when I'm out with people.

I dislike it. Lets make sure it doesn't last too long eh. I've got a cringe worthy reputation as a grinning idiot to maintain.

Not really. Its only just been submitted for review. It could be months yet, and if that other paper gets published first our journal could just decide there's no point in publishing it.

Wednesday I'm travelling to Norwich for an interview for a PhD I dont even want. See, I'm full of cheer :p
