As I toasted in 2008 with a glass of Bucks Fizz, I honestly didn't think anything big was going to happen this year. I know, I am really excited!

When do you graduate? Ireland would be fun. I have at least one friend there (there was another but she may have moved now as she was at TCD) whom I'd be happy to put you in touch with.

Part of me would love to do a PhD but sadly it doesn't pay to do one in the UK labour market (unless of course you want to go into academia). I may do one in my retirement. In fact my aunt is doing that.

What's Trevor up to these days? Would you bring him to Ireland with you?
