Okay, that's the worst AU fic in history. Gun-crazy American Craven? British Jedburgh? That's just stupid.

Good thing it isn't real, no such movie exists, and the only Edge of Darkness is the real one that I just got on DVD!

The AU badfic probably has lots of not-thinking-about-it implicit incest, and will be marginally less weird on that front than actual canon. And act out every hoary old cliche of Angry Action Hero Protecting/Avenging His Daughter, because badfic's like that. And they'll probably leave off the black flowers in favor of "Gun-crazy American Craven shoots the bad guys."

I bet they will. Either that, or they'll make everyone there over-the-top cackling evil.

On the upside, they can never change the awesome that is Darius Jedburgh. Fake Jedburgh has a different first name.

I'm guessing Mel Gibson kills everyone, dies of radiation, and then gets a fluffy ghost-montage with his daughter in Heaven committing angelic incest together.

I would lol if they had took out the incest but everyone who had seen the proper one thuoght it was incestuous anyway.

That would be hilarious. Although I still hope they have a "I don't get it" moment, and stick the incest in without thinking about it.

It seems to fit with the current action movie trend of aging stars running around hurting people in an obsessive case of "RAWR, MY DAUGHTER!" instead of "RAWR, MY GIRLFRIEND!", now that they can plausibly have daughters old enough for the audience to legally ogle.
