Kingdom of Loathing is CHANGED since I last played it. It has more quests now and apparently there is a huge tedious-looking one where you have to kill a thousand hippies. WOE. I miss when you could ascend in a few days even if you were shit.
Anon Meme says I am CLASSIST, which is... true, but not that way round. I am supposed to publically disavow all the classist rage against the Tyler Clan, so okay if you missed that before I do so now. Whether one can still insult chavvery depends on whether it is a class thing or a culture thing, which I have never quite been able to decide on as I am scum but not very chavtastic. Rose Tyler is not very chavvy though as she doesn't do binge-drinking and doesn't wear enough bling. Mickey is a decent working-class young man and Jackie has chav leanings a wee bit but she was a single-mother during the years of Thatcher so we should cut her a break for that. Pete Tyler, on the other hand, is Thatcherite Del-Boy scum who so cheated on Jackie until they retconned that he was Jesus. I in no way find that somewhat sexist or more likely (as well as?) Cornell's Daddy Issues showing again.
There, that was a borderline thoughtful miniessay on the nature of class in terms of the Tyler Clan. I have decided to try rly hard to like the ones I don't like so that I am not pissed off if it all resets back to S2 just because. IT COULD HAPPEN.
