I only watched Life on Mars after the DW episode when I notice people commenting with that icon. It is a very intriguing picture, especially after reading about a couple of hundred comments on Master/Doctor dynamic...

The show's a bit insane.

Only it wasn't called rape because the way it happened was a crime boss forced one of his female employees to lay a "honey trap" for Sam and when Sam decided to sleep on the couch she used a roofie on him, and then all the other cops thought it was very amusing. Am a yank. And was provided for by friends pimping it on LJ for series 1, and when series 2 aired this year I got torrents (and I'm sure there are still some for series 1). There is much dismay that though BBCAmerica aired series 1 last year there is yet any mention of them airing series 2 nor word of a DVD release for North America.

Oh, but they are making an "American version" *gag*

Showcase (a Canadian cable channel) is airing series 2 on Saturday afternoons, but I thought they were still rerunning S1 so I didn't find out until they'd reached the 8th episode or so of series 2. Dammit!
