 it's been a crazy week.

last saturday i flew out to berkeley, and due to tornados, did not get in untl 2am california time. i took the BART from the airport to campus on sunday morning, and then spent the next 36 hours being shown the department. it was amazing- the faculty is great, the grad students actually seem happy, and they really seem to want me. because the world is tiny, also in the group of prospective students were: a former intern of mine, a guy from the year ahead of me at high school, and a guy from my class at high school. craziness. i'd talk more about berkeley, but i'd just be rambling. but i had individual meetings with 5 professors, and talked with many more in group settings.

monday night, two friends picked me up in berkeley and drove me (and the guy from my year in school) down to palo alto. i was exhausted, so instead of going out to celebrate st. paddy's day and sara's last day in palo alto, i went to bed. tuesday and wednesday were relaxing, but also not, cause it was being in palo alto, which can be very hard for me. which makes thinking about berkeley different. i dunno.

i had tons of house guests this weekend- my friend sara who just moved to new york, as well as my brother and his friend. and i was kinda sick/allergies, so it was more craziness. but fun.

and now i'm finishing laundry. go laundry.
