Neptune is gone...
I noticed earlier he was laying on the bottom of his tank, but figured he just didn't feel well again. I was giving both the boys more medicine and decided to turn on the light and have a better look, and I could tell he was dead. I swirled the water around, but there was nothing. I looked closer and could see that he had dropsy, but I didn't notice that when I looked at him yesterday. I was checking for it and saw he looked "fat," but his scales weren't sticking out that I saw.
At least I don't think he suffered too much. He's only seemed sick the past couple of days... but it's sad, because he was always my favorite. He had a lot of personality. Always telling things to go away and making bubble nests... refusing to eat unless it was day-old food soaked on a junk mail C.D.
So R.I.P. Neptune. I wish there was a fishy heaven for you to eat boiled turkey heart in!
