I'm Thinking I Want Some Treats

Break wrapped up pretty well. I had karaoke nights, threw a Sexy Schoolgirls party, and then there was my craaaaazzy night with Jen (who I miss so much already) that started at Slims with Candice and Jill. Details-except the date which was January 4th-will be forgotten. Actually, to be honest, for the second time in my life, they truly are. Not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing.

The New Year was celebrated with all my best friends at Mikey D’s. Paul was my midnight kiss. Steph got sick and enjoyed it as much as we did. Jen and I stuck around the toilet laughing at her, camera in hand. The videos were hilarious. “I need a tissue.” & “I’m not Mike, I’m not Mike.” & “Jen’s throwing up”-“It sounds like you’re throwing up.”

Speaking of Stephanie, she has officially moved in with Alex and Matt. She loves it. I’m happy for her. Her cats even moved in. Really lucky with that because Matt loves cats. Can’t imagine why.

Just got back from a last-minute trip to Orlando. Finally. Went up with Frankie, Brett, and Sean. Stayed with Candice and had so much fun. I miss her already. We went to Devaney’s the first night with her awesome roommate Jenny, and with Haan and Carter and a couple of her other friends. The country dancing was a blast. I ran into Tyler Brown (who I love) and Bloechinger (who I was about to call) and Paul (who I didn’t even know was in Orlando for the weekend.) They suck for being on their way out, but gave us their wristbands, so I guess they don’t suck that bad. And then last night we went to Scoop. Along with Lauren, Brittany, Garren, Jon, Paul, and Brad. Fun times dancing. We were stars.

It was funny, because Candice ran into her friend Tyler at Scoop, and we were hanging out with him all night. He invited Candice and me back to his place to watch some Dane Cook after Scoop closed, and on the ride there he mentioned being on the soccer team. I asked, oh do you know Mike Mattson? He’s like, of course I know Mike Mattson. I said he’s pretty much my best guy friend in the world, but I called him like 5 times tonight and he didn’t answer, so I kind of hate him. Tyler said, yeah he hasn’t been feeling well at all but you can wake him up when we get there. I’m like, huh? And then Tyler said he was his roommate. I’m just like, “oh my gosh, are you Tyler Davis?” “Yeah, how’d you know that?” “Like I said, Mike’s one of my best friends ever and I’m pretty sure you’re one of his up here.” “Wait, are you his friend from out of town? The one he kept trying to get us to go to Devaney’s for last night?” “Yup, that’s me!” “Oooohh, it all makes sense now. That Vanessa. I didn’t think I was going to meet you.” “Me either, but it was bound to happen.” Yeah, we were really excited to meet. I’m famous. So is Tyler. We got there and I woke up Mike’s ass. And he came out to watch Dane Cook with us. Then they drove us back to Candice’s and it was bye bye, best friend. Kind of like today, when I had to leave Candice. I love her.

Spring semester 2007 has begun. I’m taking 6 classes + Yoga (twice a week for 1 credit) which I love. Due to scheduling conflict, one of my classes-Intro to Media Studies-is Monday nights at PBCC Lake Worth. It’s required, and my only remaining lower level course. 3 classes for my Communications/Multimedia Journalism major: U.S. Journalism, News and News Reporting, and Web Research for Journalists. And 2 for my Political Science minor: Comparative Politics and The U.S. Congress. It’s going to be a tough semester, but I’m very excited. Especially for the two Politics classes because Dr. Watson and Dr. Rabil are AMAZING.

Now, on to the important part of life…

24 IS BACK. JACK BAUER IS BACK. MY LIFE IS BACK. Two-hour Season 6 premiere last night, which I wonderfully enjoyed with Candice (she made me an amazing Chicken Parmesan dinner pre-24 craziness.) And then hours 3 and 4 air tonight, which I’ll traditionally enjoy with my parents. Yesterday consisted solely of my anticipation to welcome Jack back into my life-to America (he was being held/tortured by the Chinese for 20 months of his life which was the equivalent to I believe 8 months of mine.) And now he's back and ready to run shit. I’m so happy. You don’t even know. You don’t even-you don’t even know. You don’t even KNOW!!
