So I am at work at the moment, listening to some chill ambient and calming a hangover with a bottle of water and a cup of really strong coffee. I'm not one to get very strong hangovers, but what I do get is just this general aching feeling that'll last usually the first few hours of the morning.
However, I'm here by myself, it's a little cool out and I've got the window open, I'm not doing too much in the way of strenuous mental labor, I've only got the light that's coming through the windows, and no one is bothering me. While hangovers can suck, having this little ache just makes my body not want to do anything... that lethargy leads to this deep relaxation. Mix it with cool air, great warm coffee, and this real chill music, and I gotta say I'm feeling really good.
Say what you will about hangovers, they can at least lead to some real true chill out. Very sublime. And not like the band.
