[ Edward Dalton sits perched on a chair, a vague cloud of impatience tangible even beyond the lens of the camera. His chair bisects the space between the wall and the door, and the words City General stand out in white window lettering against the window above the door.
He's staring at something, someone, eyebrows rising in response to a silent voice.]
You want me to talk about them? [ The murmur of indistinct voices. ] Don't you think it's none of your business?
[ Ed runs the side of his hand against his forehead, sighs, then shakes his head. ]
Gregory House? Don't really know him. Supposedly he's a good doctor. [ Pause ] There's some talk about him being disagreeable, but like I said, I don't know him.
[ Another question, and a pause for thought on Ed's end. ]
James Wilson?
Helped me out. Saved my life, to be exact.
He seems like the type of guy who only knows how to be nice. At least that's how he acts. [ His eyes dart to the side. ] A good doctor. Dependable. Though, I have to admit, sometimes I think he tries too hard.
But I like him, and I'm glad he encouraged me to get back into this.
Isn't two enough? [More murmuring on the other side followed by another sigh. ] Eden's something of a firecracker, isn't she? She's good for Frankie. Looks after him better than I ever did. [ The slightest awkward break, before he rushes into his next comment. ] At the hospital, she has unusual methods, but I can't say I'm stickler for traditional means. I'm for whatever's most effective.
[ Then another question, a question that makes him press his lips together. ]
Allison Cameron? [ There's some hesitation, as he stares at the camera. ] She's nice.
