My Quick Summary:
One thing I always want to explain to anyone starting to get into Dogs is that this series has three different... forms. The first release, simply titled "Dogs", came out sometime back in 2001 and was, for the longest time, a stand-alone series. After a few years, we were teased by a second release, "Hardcore Twins" which introduced a couple new characters, mainly a set of twins with powers much like Haine's.
After these two releases, the actual series "Dogs: Bullets & Carnage" started, and is still continuing to this day.
While D:B&C was in production, there was a side-story produced called "White Line and Gum Ball" which follows Badou's character before he hooked up with Haine. So, there we have it, that's the *brief* chronology of this universe and the characters.
I would write a great summary for this series, but I think it'd be better if I were to link to a few great reviews that really do this series more justice than I ever could.
