Personality: Being the eldest, Ting-Ting was hit first and hardest by the duties and expectations she had to live up to. As such, she is a very responsible and solemn young woman, taking her role very seriously and encouraging others, especially her sisters, to do the same. Only those who have known her for a long while would know, however, that she was (and secretly still is) quite the comedienne. But as she got older, she was confronted with the reality of her post - after all, jokes and tricks and her snorting sow-laugh were unbecoming of any young lady, but especially a princess. She was supposed to set an example, for her sisters and for all the girls in the kingdom.
She is terrified of being a bad example, and is actually something of a perfectionist. Not only is she defensive about her change, but she envies anyone who is respected and successful without having to sacrifice self. Almost the polar opposite of who she was as a child, Ting-Ting is even reluctant to smile at times, and knows little to nothing of how to strike a balance within herself.

AU Background: Ting-Ting was born and raised in the Imperial Palace, a daughter of the emperor. Her sisters, Mei and Su, have been her constant companions since childhood. She was raised with every comfort due her rank, but she was also taught every responsibility.
She and her sisters are all engaged through arranged marriages, but the alliances they would have cemented are, for now, superceded by the threat of the Black Mist. Rather than send his children to countries he wishes to ally with and have them join families he cannot fully know, the Emperor chose to pass on to his three daughters invitations to Disney Academy. Their education there might be against tradition, but it is a safe haven from the threat, and they are the future of his kingdom.
