Posting diet
I HARDLY ever post in LiveJournal anymore. This makes me very very sad. THIS IS MY PLACE!!! I still read them all and comment when I have something snarky to say... but my very own posts are fairly rare.
Most would blame this cutback on FB, and I conceed a bit of that. A bit. I rarely post ANYTHING personal on facebook. Everything there is work related, or at least work appropriate. And that's that. My personal stuff still will go here. Forever (or until it shuts down... gasp... that would suck).
So what other thing cut me back? Farm life. Yep. When I lived in Tigard I posted a lot more. I also posted more before I took the very early shift, but my biggest shrinking of posts was when we moved to Poodletopia.
There are various reasons for that. And the top one would be the expanding of responsibilities. There's just so much to do. I'm NOT complaining, but there's just rarely any time for LJ at home.
At work, it's also hard to find time. That's good mostly. I like my bosses, I enjoy what I do now, and I even got a TINY RAISE! Hey, that $10 a week, look out high rollers. Lol.... But still, being busy at work has really been the biggest reason for fewer posts here.
And speaking of farm life. Soon there will be lambs! So exciting. I hope the weather mellows the fuck out because I want the babies to have an easy start of it. Fun and frolic!! without the frost. It's not too much to ask.
Today right after work I took Rumble and Razor to the barn for some ball and agility. Razor was a SUPER DORK with absolutely NO IDEA what a start line was. Cracked me up. He's really very much "the Raze" and I don't ask much of him anymore. He had a great time playing ball.
Rumble was all over the place. Very distracted. He had Razor barking his head off in a crate, and Dove and her Golden buddy barking in the yard across the property. And .... he and I were NOT connected. Poor guy. I was also seriously tired, so that didn't help either.
His 'go round" back side is coming along very nicely. He also got to dunk himself in the bucket, so that's a good thing too. Dorky Rumble.
Ok, I'm going to try to post more. I feel like it's important. I can do it.
