Happy New Year's!

Mum let me have one of her Mike's Hard Raspberry drinks last night. :) Celebrations included making an Oriental Party pack, the kind from from M&M's, and me and Jerr munching on that. That was about it. Well, I did have some chocolate ripple ice cream, and it was good (it's just like butterscotch ripple, only, well, chocolate :P).

Had a series of odd dreams last night. One involved me in this store, somewhat akin to a WalMart, only not (boy am I descriptive). I was walking down this aisle, and they had things in the middle - shelves and stacks of things that were on sale. And I saw a few things that I thought I could get people, for late Christmas presents or something. The one thing I remember was this odd little toy. It was a walking Dalek, only it was a wind-up toy, like the little walking feet, and those chattering teeth too I guess, and had tiny little wheels on the bottom so it could move/walk. It was the weirdest looking Dalek, though. I remember that I thought, "Hey, I should get this for Sarah from GJ!". So I picked it up, along with these other two things for other people. I don't think I ever left the store though.

The other dream was very, very odd. Me and my nieces Toni and Marley (along with a bunch of misc. people) had to pack for this trip we were going to take on plane. I think we were going overseas. I sort of remember that we were all going to take this coach bus to the plane. I think. Anyway, both Toni and Marley screwed up their packing, and neither packed much of anything, and what they did pack was useless and not even essential. So I decided that we still had a bit of time, and snuck into my Oma and Opa's bedroom (somehow we'd ended up there, with the girls' stuff on the kitchen table). My Opa (who's been dead for, what, 4 years?) was in there sleeping, and while I was rummaging through the drawers quietly, he woke up. He took some coins from his pockets out and put them on the bed, counting them out by two (most of them were toonies, though some were loonies, and some were these odd nickels that were like miniature toonies).

It must have been another dream (but then again, maybe not), because I was with my Opa, and my friend Celia (I think?), and we were out on an ice flo. I don't know what we were doing out there, but we were out there voluntarily, in anyu case, and were having fun. I think we might have been playing chess, or at least we might have had a chess set out there. Oddly enough, I used to play chess with my Opa (he was the one that taught me how to play). I saw this one piece of ice sort of do a flop, where it just wobbled a bit and we could see the edge before it flopped back down, and Opa said something about the this ice being the last of the British ice floes. Our piece of ice was moving farther out away from land (it was all snowy and white, with a bank in front of us and to the right that sort of reminded me of a breakwall - if it was, we were outside the harbour), so I got on the side and was sort of halfway in and halfway out of the water, and started kicking in the water to push us back to land. I think Celia may have been doing something, too, because we were moving smoothly and got back fairly quickly. We climbed onto the bank, and there were these three big stuffed animals. One was green and looked like the platapus Beanie Baby. It was called Fong, and was Celia's. The other two belonged to me and my Opa, though I don't remember what they really were. We went to this bus, and Opa, who wasn't really him anymore, said that even if we said we might not like it, here we were, getting onto a smelly, crowded bus. He'd told us something about ice, a heart, and a knife. I saw it in my mind's eye, written down, like a poem, each with a line to itself. We all got on the bus, and it was crowded, dank, and dark. I sat beside Celia, and this girl, Stephanie Lavoi from my elementary school, sat on the edge of the seat beside me. Celia was sitting sideways and said that she thought the thing about the ice, the heart, and the knife was a riddle. I got this feeling that the man that was sort of my Opa was tutoring us, or we were apprenticing under him. This may have been because of the fact that in FMA, the Elric brothers were left on an island to learn a lesson from the statement "All is one, one is all." The fact that Celia's green platapus/duck/thing was named Fong was undoubtably because last night I watched some of A Knight's Tale (it was on tv), and they kept using that word.

Whew. Jerr interrupted me a bunch, there. It's after 5pm now! Mum let me have her other Mike's, because it was making her stomach roll. Hah, but Jerr and I ended up ranking our pets and us as military personel, a la FMA. My cat is Pyxis, and Kita is my brother's old dog. The others are his pets. Well, minus the Silly Putty. The rankings go as follows:

Fuhrer - Jerrod
Fuhrer’s Secretary - Peanut (Central City HQ only) (cat); Silly Putty (everywhere else) (Silly Putty of the grey/white variety)
General - Jess (Me!)
Brigadier General - Pyxis (cat)
Colonel - Kita (dog)
Lt. Colonel - Chubby (cat)
Major - Star aka the Feather Alchemist (bird)
1st Lt. - Twinkle aka Lt. Hotguy (bird)
2nd Lt. - Bear (dog)
