is there an Internet radio application/service that will allow you to tune in from anywhere? The technology to really pull down live feeds from online on the fly isn't really here yet, but it's not inconceivable. if the telecom giants didn't have a lock on handset technology, that would be a natural avenue of exploration since online capabilites have pervaded the market. Audio quality is also a concern. However, iPods are already ubiquitous; the question is, can we piggyback the radio experience onto the device without wireless access? Certainly, it's possible to use one's home Internet to timeshift radio programming, sync it with your iPod and play it at your on convenience, but the value of live news, weather, traffic, and sports coverage is a crucial component of radio. It'd be interesting to see broadcast giants try to tack into the wind of technology if this were to happen--they're already trying to shut things down the the Broadcast Flag legislation and other douchebaggery.

Anyway, it's really nice and i'm going outside.
