Sometimes, she’d die for just a taste of what Ianto has.
But she doesn’t mean Jack. He saved her. And she owes him her life and knows one day too soon she’ll pay with it.
It tears her apart inside when he talks of him, of dates and stolen moments, the little insecurities they both still have. She’d be blind if she hadn’t noticed the subtle touches of reassurances and the way they brighten in the other’s presence.
She sees the love between them she feels she’ll never have and it breaks her heart even in her happiness for them.
