Blargh.
School was excellent today, yesh. We didn't really have the trombone sectionals like we were supposed to, but that's okay, since we didn't really have to, anyway. *sigh* I hope Mr. Simpson comes back as soon as he can without worrying about his kids or Mrs. Simpson. That way, we can actually do band and orchestra in a way that stuff actually gets done. And it'll put everyone at ease, possibly including himself (since everything would be going back to normal).
Band wasn't really remarkable. We just had sectionals for marching band during class. And it went okay. Except Tobin was really riding on my nerves today. Grr.
Chem, blah. English, blah.
PE, we actually played indoor soccer instead of lifting. :O And I didn't suck very badly, either. :O (THough I still sucked.)
Orchestra went fairly well today. The sub had to leave early for the doctor, and said the Engs would be paying sporadic attention to us. I never saw them show up, though. After we got through the whole Folk Tune and Fiddle Dance thing, things went weird. I kept screwing up the pickup starts, and stuff. Eventually, Stephanie finished conducting until class was over just because I wasn't really awake, anyway.
HMA, blah. Didn't understand radians until I asked about them. Now I get it. *phew*
So then we had trumpet/Bb horn sectionals after school today (since today was an 11:50 release). We actually got a lot done (this could be because Logan is our section leader, and he has a *SHOCKHORRORGASP* work ethic). Afterward, we talked about high brass T-shirts, and I think I might be in charge of that. Though I'm most likely wrong about that. *shrug*
Oh yeah, and I think I might have convinced Jared to play Bb horn for marching band next year. :D I hope his parents go along with it. If he joins and I'm a drum major, sweet. If he joins and I'm not a drum major, that's still fine, because we might actually have enough Bb horns that we could go off and form our own section. XD Though we'd still be considered high brass.
Blargh. I'm going to finish my homework. And not take that grape cough medicine until I'm done with my workm because I didn't finish it last night because I couldn't stay awake.
