Before my brother and his wife moved, that was the closest theater to where they lived. It was where they would have gone to see . . . . it was where they have gone for many, many movies. It's where I went with them to see The Hunger Games. If I had been able to secure a ticket to the midnight showing of the Dark Knight Rises, it would have been at that theater.
Luckily, nobody I knew personally was actually at that theater last night. Still, this is terrible. Nobody really knows what to do, how to react. This sort of thing . . . people here still have living memories of Columbine. I moved to the area years after that, but I still remember the feeling of the time across the country, particularly of people around my age.

Mainly, the area is still in shock.
