First it's the ridiculous choker so she can fit in with the high collar look of the JL because DC won't give her any sort of sensible top.
Philippus and Artemis are inexplicibly replaced by women -- the black chief bodyguard/general and the combative friend with the long red ponytail -- who are clearly intended as narrative and physical stand-ins for those same characters
A whole bunch of Amazons are red shirted to introduce Strife.
Diana's essential origin story in dismissively tossed aside as a lie in a manner they'd never do with Bruce or Clark -- not even Morrison -- to make Zeus her father. Not only does this completely remove the uniqueness and distinctiveness of her origin to turn her into a distaff version of so many other generic Greek heroes, by giving her what is essentially Cassandra Sandsmark's origin story, it's clearly the final step in the campaign DC have been waging to remove Wonder Girl from Diana's orbit and embed her forever in the Titans as an independent identity.
Diana's reason for coming to Man's World is no longer The Mission or apparantly primarily any sense of altruism, it's revealed -- 4 issues in, in a throwaway line -- to be little more than the teenage fucking angst. "Oh boo hoo I'm mad from clay, I'm an outsider, I don't belong here!" and "I'm going to Man's World to fight shit where you can't tell me what to do anymore mum!" (and that last one isn't even from her own book, but Justice League #3 where she's basically a damn klingon).
And now they've petrified Poly and turned every other Amazon into a fucking snake.
I don't give a damn if this is probably going to be reversible in some form or another -- at best you'd probably get worse than 50/50 odds. It's again the same situation where Gail apparantly killed off Savant & his boyfriend except we have even less of a reason to trust in the end result. Becaue this is just so utterly fucking diagnostic.
Maybe Azzarello is just astoundingly ignorant of the decades of context of his plot, it's entirely possible. He might even be deliberately trolling, but honestly I think he probably just doesn't give a fuck that yet again it seems that the only purpose the Amazons serve is as victims to be fridged because he clearly doesn't seem to give a fuck about Diana as anything except a vehicle for the stories he wants to tell about godly shenanigans, and not about telling stories about Diana.
