The first one, LibroLandia, was a bookstore and a magazine store. I bought everything there. They even put stuff on hold for me and I paid for it afterwards. Except for the last batch. I never went to pick it up so I probably owe them around 500 pesos, which back in 2002 was still a lot of money for comics. (I'm not proud of that. I'm afraid to even go near that place these days... I wish I had a job so I could go and pay her, but I never manage to get enough money to do so...)
You know, I'm probably going to get blacklisted for saying this but I don't really care. The second one, Mundo Vid, is run by a complete fucking toolish douchebag. That's the only other place in town that sells comics by the boatload, and the owner takes full advantage of it. He prices comics at TWICE the cover price and is everything a total fanboy can be, and then some. He has a monopoly ovre any sort of con that happens in town. I've only met the guy once, but that was enough for me to dislike him forever. He's why I NEVER go to any cons that are even associated with him.
Ugh. Sorry for going so off-topic...

Seriously, comic books are like two years behind the US here. Not to mention the translation, most of the time, is just plain horrible. If only they bothered to hire real translators *cough*pleasegivemeajob*coughs*

Have you done translation professionally before?
Good luck with the job search!
