OUTRAGEOUS B:BatB News from Cartoon Network

Some news regarding Batman: The Brave and the Bold from World's Finest. Comics Continuum also had the story.

Bad News: Cartoon Network has decided to delay all upcoming episodes of Batman: The Brave and the Bold to an unspecified date. Right now, they're saying "fall." So if you've been wondering where the promotional material for this week's episode is, there ain't none. You're going to be watching Spy Kids or some other equally unappealing movie instead. The show isn't canceled, though, let me stress that. They've already ordered another 26 episodes.

Good News: The upcoming eventually forthcoming musical episode, "Mayhem of the Music Meister" will feature Neil Patrick Harris as the eponymous Music Meister, who seems to be a mashup of assorted music-themed villains. For those of you who have been living under a rock, Neil Patrick Harris is famous for being Doogie Howser, Barney from How I Met Your Mother, Barry Allen from New Frontier, and Doctor Horrible. Other cast members set to appear in this episode include Tom Kenny, Grey Delisle, Jeff Bennett, James Arnold Taylor, and John DiMaggio (singing Aquaman? OUTRAGEOUS!).

"Mayhem of the Music Meister" will be premiered at SDCC, so if you were one of the lucky few who got passes before it sold out, congratulations! If you're not standing in some ridiculously long line at Artist's Alley, you'll be seeing this a lot sooner than the rest of us.

Between all these scheduling monkeyshines and this whole CNReal nonsense, Cartoon Network is going on my List. You best shape up, Cartoon Network. Nobody wants to see you turn into Other Nickelodeon.
