some people wanted to know why the news crews can get on the ground to visit people but the president cant? if u'd been watching the news then u'd know that the law enforcers down there are now given shot guns and a boat and told to enforce the law. people are attacking cops and trying to shoot down rescue helicopters. even if the president wanted to get on the ground NO WAY IN HELL would his PSD team ever let him. its way too dangerous. if the news people wanna risk their lives for their job then fine. the army MPs and the civilian cops knew what could happen to them when they signed up for the job. its OUR job to enforce the law in a time of emergency. its OUR job to fight for this country and give our all whether it be over seas or in country. its OUR job to give our lives so that civilians can sit around and complain about what the president does and does not do. its not his job to die for this country. its ours. i have friends who are down in new orleans and i have friends who are in korea w/ me now but will be going to st louis when they leave here. try keeping them in ur prayers and in ur heart instead of focusing on my commander in chief.
