The Morning After...

Last night...

This could be expected.

She remembered everything surprisingly, but then again, how could she forget? She didn't have to vomit or anything. She had a surprising tolerance for alcohol.

She did, however, have a horrible headache. Oh, it's awful.

Carter feels her moving around, and opens his eyes. He smiles. "Hey. How's your head?"

It's horrible. Hopefully, she doesn't look as horrible as she feels right now.

"Feels like someone hit me with a baseball bat. I would smile back, but it would really hurt."

"You're dehydrated. You need water." Carter turns back the covers and gets up to go to the kitchen.

She worked to sit up.

"You take good care of me. Thank you."

She smiled naturally a little.
