Guess what? A building up the block from my apartment is being demolished, and they are going to BLOW IT UP!!! I am so excited! This Sunday morning, yours truly will have a front row seat to an enormous explosion! Or, well, an "implosion." Which might be kinda small. People aren't supposed to park on the opposite side of the street. *shrugs* BUT. I, like so many in my generation, thrill to sweet siren song of rampant destruction. If I hadn't had ambitions towards education, I would have become a demolition expert. You get to knock things around with a sledgehammer! It wouldn't be necessary to pretend to be able to walk in a straight line! (This...is an issue. I knock into walls all the time. People ask if I'm drunk. But I'm not. Just clumsy).
In non-explosion news, Fozzy got a haircut, and he is SO adorable right now. I want to squish him. He's all soft!
In non-dog, non-explosion news, I'm reading simplymarvie's J2 AU Heart Like an Artichoke, which contains the following paragraph: Jensen rolls his eyes but gives it a try. And it's... not bad. For hippie vegetarian food, that is. The lemon and garlic are strong, and it's salty and savory and surprisingly filling, which he doesn't notice until after he's eaten almost the whole bowl. He can see Jared trying not to smirk at him as he takes Jensen's empty bowl and packs it away.
I read that six times and still kept thinking "whole bowl" was "whole bowel". WTF, brain?
In non-bowel, non-dog, non-explosion news, I have a Wii. And Super Mario Brothers for Wii, because I was unable to beat the original Super Mario Brothers game from 1985. This new game is equally challenging. I've been stuck on World 3 for weeks. Is there such a thing has being developmentally delayed at gaming? Because if there is, I am.
