Okay, maybe
secretlybronte isn't made of tangerines, per se, but she is composed of the very things I like best in a person. (And that makes her...citrusy. Man, this anology just won't work).
I love
secretlybronte very dearly. She's one of my best friends, online and off, and she's always been there to offer advice and support, to crack jokes and listen to me bitch and moan, and she's shown profound trust in me. Everything she does is a gift, from her fabulous writing (both fannish and non-fannish) to her thoughtful responses to Big Ideas and Little Complaints, and she really is the most compassionate and brave and strong and all-around best person I know. I've never had a friend like her before, and I think this world would be a much better place if we all had a friend like
secretlybronte.
Because SB is such a special person and a dear friend, I have written her a story for her birthday. It is neither particularly special, nor does it mention tangerines, but I hope it'll pass muster anyway.
