Exciting Developments of a Con-Shaped Nature!
I have THE MOST EXCITING news! We have a hotel for can_con2008! I just spoke with the event coordinator for the Holiday Inn and we're firming up the details of the contract, but long story short...
\o/ \o/ \o/ CanCon 2008 is a Go! \o/ \o/ \o/
I'm just figuring out what our little mini-con will look like, and the CanCon 2008 Action Team (aka me and meresy) will make a big info post about it in the next couple of days with hotel information and airport transportation options, and some specifics about the attendance cap and registration costs. (Which will, um, be cheap. We'll be in downtown Toronto - there will be PLENTY to do).

The other exciting news, also of a con-related yet more self-centred nature, is that I'll be attending con_txt this June in Washington, DC. Guys, I get to see Washington! I get to hang out with j_s_cavalcante and omphale23 and ignazwisdom and wordplay and a whole host of awesome fangirls! This summer? FULL OF CONS! Eeeee! I'm sure I'll see some of you folks at con_txt, and for the rest...
We are having a Canadian due South convention in Toronto in AUGUST! How awesome is that? Pretty awesome!
