More Joy Day!
Hey every, guess what? It's More Joy Day, brainchild of the wonderful sdwolfpup. The entire point of today is to spread joy wherever and however you can! Offer feedback, write a snippet, make a userpic, be kind to a random stranger, think good thoughts about people who commit moving traffic violations against you, whatever strikes your fancy. Then post about what you've done in your journal and encourage others to spread the love. Nifty, isn't it?
I like this kind of thing rather a lot. j_s_cavalcante sent me a typewriter for inspirational purposes, and an Anonymous Benefactor gave me a polar bear (so adorable! And angstily appropriate!). I'm also listening to some downloaded music funded by lamentables, so I'm duty-bound to spread some joy in return. I'm still trying to work my way through the 2007 dSSS archive and offer feedback--I want to say something about all 54 amazing stories--but I'd also like to write something for you. So! I'm offering snippets, and I'd like some prompts, people. dS/6degrees stuff, please, and if you've got a pairing or a phrase in mind please comment, and I'll give you ~300 words.
