Finally some sort of explanation.

Well hello again... I've been really bad at posting. Since the last time... I've basically travelled a lot, and tomorrow I'm off again. Today was a doctor's visit that led to interesting discoveries...

This past year, I've been having pains under my left breast. For obvious reasons, I've been worrying if this could be a) heart attack or b) breast cancer that had spread, as it's been slightly lumpy at times.

It got fairly bad after a strenuous golfing session with work (yes, I'm a librarian, and was dragged out to golf with work), wherein the a) heart attack symptoms started appearing. The symptoms weren't appearing in massive fits and bounds, so it wasn't "OMG get me to the emergency room pains" but achy nevertheless. I phoned my doctor.

After about six months of too and from - including a summer when I was meant to take two kind of pain relievers for muscle pain as it sounded like I'd got an inflamed muscle between my ribs... Yes, I apparently get golf injuries... I returned to the doctor, with the same symptoms. We had x-rays taken, and apparently my rib cage looks excellent.
But, from all the things it isn't, my doctor thinks I have Tietze Syndrome. Rare, mostly found in women between 20-40... and is meant to pass on its own after a period of time

So now I have glorious pills to counter the dull thudding in the ribs. Pills that may cause heartburn, so I also got pills to counter the heartburn. Great way to start the Christmas period.
