Doctor's diagnosis: I've got tonsillitis. It's actually so bad that they wondered why I'd taken so long to get to them. The explanation is really very simple. I got it Thursday night. Friday wasn't so bad, and I never go to the doctor's for just a sore throat.
Saturday was a bit worse, enough to cancel on the eurosong party I was going to, and staying home in bed dozing while halfway listening to the songs.
Sunday was hell. But I didn't feel bad enough to go to emergency.
Monday was hell, but I had to get the paper done.
Yesterday - I was so exhausted by the time I got home from handing the paper in, that I ended up in bed instead.
My supervisor mentioned that it's been going around the office, and that several people in research has the same thing. At least I know where I got it, even if I don't know from whom.
