I think I'm getting better - throat, fever, etc. I no longer have a gag-reflex going on when I'm trying to swallow something
Of course, I'm also rather weak from lack of nourishment over the past couple of days - when it hurts to swallow, you do it as little as possible. I've fixed myself a large portion of cooked rolled oats, with cinnamon, butter and sugar, that I'm eating slowly. I've also got an apple, a bagel, and various other things planned to eat to regain a bit of energy.
Moving forwards with paper - thank God for laptop so I can lie in bed and write the last stuff. I had a bit of panicking going on this morning, when I had 38.5 degrees celsius in termperature, and didn't really feel up do writing anything at all. And postponing it until two hours before deadline tomorrow really didn't seem all that wise.
I contemplated contacting my doctor, but as the opening hours of the clinic was many hours away, I instead took an ibuprofen, slept some more and fever *magically* disappeared. Or at least went down a lot.
The good thing about this is, of course, that while my mouth became drier, it also became easier to swallow, thus the porridge, and drinking loads of ribena and water…
