"Date" night! Forti has secured Marian's roast and even dressed up a little - perhaps not as much as he would for Ophelia, but then, he's not as worried about impressing Marian. He did his good deed, and now he's just looking forward to some friendly conversation and good food.

Marian may be dressed up a little more than usual too, though not even the Prince of Norway, etc. is going to get her into a dammned corset. On her arm is a basket full of various groceries and other innocuous bundles

Good evening, your majesty, unless you'd prefer to skip the formalities and get straight to the cooking.

*grins* Go ahead and skip 'em. And you can call me Fortinbras. Come on in!

If you'll show me the way to the kitchen, I'll get started. Thank you again, by the way. I'm already quite sure this will be a far more pleasant evening than the other I might have been subjected to.

*gestures* This way, I think - I don't use it much. *smiles* You're welcome, but I was just doing what anyone should have done.

*oh look, a kitchen!* *emptying her basket onto a tale/counter/whatever surface there is* I find roasted herbed potatoes and vegetables go nicely with roast, accompanied by a good red wine. However, if that's rather too English for your tastes, I'd be happy to come up with something more Scandinavian for us.

The English stuff sounds great. There's only so much Danish cooking I can take, after all. *grins*

Wonderful. *roling up her sleeves and getting to work* So, what have you been up to of late?
