b-but there was this h-horrible storm.. a-and we got caught up in it an-and now we're back to where we started off, on a deserted island.. S-sealand is fine a-and so am I.. W-we aren't hurt or anything..

Yes. Usually. Like I said, depends on how much he used. If the island is really big and he's on the other side a single stick wouldn't be heard on your end. But there's a reason people usually use flares instead of TNT, dynamite is not as visible unless you're causing a rockslide.
