It's not every day an article mentions "Ranald MacDonald" and "clownish propaganda" without having any connection whatsoever to the fast food industry.
Oh BBC, how thou doth amuse us. /edit: I noticed this change several weeks ago, but just wanted to mention how cool it is that the BBC is finally treating the countries of the UK a bit more equitably. Before, when clicking on the "UK" tab on the left of the BBC news site, the England section would be neatly subdivided into London, Midlands, etc etc; Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, however, were apparently too insignificant to have their own regions -- after all, some executive surely reasoned, why should we bother? ... but the BBC has finally seen the light and now two of the three other countries in Great Britain have regional news. Northern Ireland is on a different island so it must still not count.
P.S. - Anyone know just how much autonomy the Isle of Man has? I know it strikes its own currency, but politically it's just governed by England, right?
