Forgive me if episode summaries start getting shorter-this semester I have classes in the morning on Wednesdays so getting up at four to catch livestream is a no-no.
AAAAAAAAAANYWAYS.
- we start the episode out with Crow overlooking a grave
- and flashbacks to this guy dying in a fire who throws Crow his duel disk-the disk with the Blackfeathers.
- which means that the Blackfeather deck wasn't originally Crow's.
- awww.
- and as he tries to drive away-there's a WARNING message on Black Bird's screen...which vanishes later.
- but then the next morning, Bruno's running diagnostics on it and keeps coming up with an ERROR...
- so it looks like the bike's out of commission.
- and whatever it is that Yuusei and Bruno are talking about
- Crow doesn't get it.
- Or maybe they're being weird and dorky idk
- anyways, Ushio and Mikage suddenly pop in and ask Crow to talk-and they ask about the dead guy Crow visited the day before-Robert Pearson.
- There was something fishy about his death...and they have a suspicion that a card called Blood Mephist is involved.
- ...
- ...makes me think of this.
- ...as if I didn't have enough to encourage my crossover.
- ANYWAYS BACK TO STORY
- ...wait, Jack? You're still going there?
- WE THOUGHT YOU ACTUALLY LEARNED SOMETHING AFTER THAT FILLER.
- PFFFT.
- ohhh~, looks like waitress girl's actually brought up the courage to say something...
- ...wat.
- Oh, Crow.
- Seems that he's borrowing Jack's D-Wheel because his is in the shop
- and Jack is not happy.
- Seems that the interruption just sapped all of her courage again. Oh well. Maybe there's a next time.
- ...dude there should so be a filler where waitress girl duels Carly in an epic battoru of love just because of the crack
- Crowwwwww you look so tiny in that D-Wheel
- anyways, Crow's visiting some sort of...D-Wheel dealership.
- and then we go to some guy...same mohawk guy from the flashback who was comforting Crow...
- ...and he's apparently dealing underground? Eh?
- Whatever it is, the shady guy he's dealing with wants Black Feather Dragon.
- ootoooooohhhhh~
- anyways, Crow gets thrown out of the dealership...
- right into mohawk guy who owns the dealership
- and so he's invited in for drinks. :P
- they have a friendly chat...
- ...until Blood Mephist is brought up.
- And then chat goes downhill, we see mohawk's true colors, and then there's a duel challenge.
- Angsty Crow is angsty while...
- D'AWWWWWWWWWW.
- Clearly there is something wrong if someone can be angsty through this scene...so in pops Yuusei, the feel-good duel therapist for his obligatory main-character screentime.
- yeah.
- we have more flashbacks in which Pearson and Mohawk drive away umbrella-wielding thugs that were beating on Crow's motley group
- but uh...if this is after Team Sat...then why is Crow in such awe of the Blackfeathers? Didn't he already HAVE that deck by that time? :|
- anyways we see a silhouette of BFD...and that sound it's making...it makes me think of the sludgy hellgod crawling out of Momentum.
- and it seems that Pearson became a sort of role model for Crow-teaching and helping kids. :3
- and they even were working on Black Bird together.
- So, Crow actually starts working on his own D-Wheel to prepare for this duel...
- and as for the duel itself, other than Mohawk wearing a suit that makes him look like a banana and Crow getting pierced through by two giant spear-arrow things...not much is happening.
- but ow, ow, oh, ow.
- ...although it kinda looks like he's getting picked up by a giant pair of chopsticks or something.
- PREVIEW: continue the duel
- here's Blood Mephist
- and we get to see Black Feather Dragon~!
