It snowed yesterday. I hate Michigan.
(If you look to my past post you will see I totally called it though.)
I am very busy all of a sudden. I decided to sign up for band, so I do that two times a week, which is super fun because I kind of missed my saxophone more than I expected. But then two of my friends (one of which I will hopefully be living with next year) walked by my door and asked if I wanted to play in jazz band. First off, our jazz band rocks here, and the idea of being part of it seemed muy bueno. Secondly, the idea that Joe and Aaron both thought I might be good enough to play in the same room as them kind of gave me a small heart attack (if you could hear those two guys play you would understand the honor). So I joined jazz band, except they didn't need another alto, so Tom, the conductor was like "You can play the tenor!" But I've never played the tenor sax. Anyway, now I'm playing my sax four times a week. I went in on Thursday and for sight reading it wasn't too bad, but shit, I'm gonna have to practice a lot to even keep up.
On top of that I am taking a 300 level Philosophy class for some reason that I am regretting more and more as time goes by. And I can't fall behind in my Spanish studying or else Dan will beat me, and that can not happen.
In other news, my Professor and two kids in my Poetry class had a five minute discussion on why semicolons are awesome. I am so excited to become an English major.
The Cubs lost their first game by a lot and that makes me sad, but I am glad that the season has started again.
Deadliest Catch starts Tuesday.
