Remembering making love in the park in 1981.

Working on my novel.

Packing altar objects for camping.
5. Something that happened to you in 1985?
I got married. Our three kids took turns pulling the bell-rope.
6. Your prom night?
Prom ended on the stroke of midnight, due to some law. Then we carpooled out to the airport's nice restaurant, courtesy of our parents' pre-arrangement, and danced until about 4 am. Then ten of us went home to my parents' for scrambled eggs.
7. Last thing you said aloud?
"Too hot in here for clothes, huh?"
8. Last thing someone else said aloud?
"Not really. But I needed to empty my pockets."
9. Worst thing currently on television:
Instant-reaction political punditry. Doesn't anybody want to think before speaking?
10. What was in the mail today?
A check.
11. How many different beverages have you drank today?
Seltzer, tea -- two.
12. What is your favorite part of the day?
Watching sunrise or moonrise.
13. Your current To-do list?
Clean up a 5000-word submission to my writing group before I leave the printer for two weeks and have to do it on-screen. Eat supper. Bathe. Get up at 6 am. Breakfast. Change the oil. Load the car. Drive away.
14. Where is your best friend right now?
Getting ready for tomorrow.
15. What color is your toothbrush?
Purple and white.
17. Any plans for Friday night?
Driving from Starwood to mid-atlantic Camp.

Grocery stores in small towns.
