sippin' whiskey out' the bottle, not thinking 'bout tomorrow...
maine was so fucking fun!
tim and i left plymouth around 6:20 sunday night. we had 3 sets of directions lol so we didnt get lost! we got to fayette, ME a little before 10:30. CoEn, lyssa, and neil were there, and we started the fun right away. we sat out on the dock and gazed at the starts. it was so beautiful. so many stars! and we could even see the milky way! incredibleeeeee. it was so peaceful. totally loved it. except the out-house. lmao.
the kids had our own cabin. tim and i were instructed by my parents to sleep in different rooms... yeah right haha. the next morning, auntie dot stuffed us with blueberry pancakes! and i got 11 mosquito bites on my feet ow. then my parents and niki arrived. tim brought his 3 kayaks and colleen had 3 also, so we all went kayaking! i loved it! we went all around the pond/lake. we saw a beaver dam, and docked near a stream and wandered around. then we headed back to the cabin to grab some fun drinkable stuff and kayaked out to where theres usually an island, but it was more like the sunken island cuz there was no where to dock. we chilled there for a while and it was the most relaxing time everrrr. we were all pretty crazy by that afternoon! we paddled back for dinner. uncle mike made the most mouthwatering steak you can imagine. tim and i took a nap while the others went to the general store to stock up on munchies. we all just chilled the rest of the night, and colleen put watermelon in the blender! we had a camp fire and roasted marshmallows and made s'mores :-) then we told ghost stories til niki blew up her finger with a sparkler LOL. it was a very relaxing day.
tuesday morning, auntie dot turned us into blueberry pancake monsters again! then tim and i took a nice long walk. maine is absolutely beautiful. so many trees. it was so chilly out, it felt like fall. we chilled all morning and more of colleen's friends came down, kathleen and pat. later auntie dot took me and tim for a walk to see where their new cabin (uncle mike's dreamhouse) is being built. its pretty cool. then tim and i hung out with colleen, lyssa, and neil til 4:30 when we decided to head home. we stopped by Outback for dinnerrrrr. and we made it home by 10:00. very fun vacation. we're totally going back next summer :-D
