One of the weirdest things, as of late, is that every time I flip through the channels and end up watching "Sex and the City", it somehow finds a way to relate to my life and problems at the time. If not that, at least things I'm thinking about at the time (the "sex" part doesn't relate to me, mind you, just all the other "life experiences".) It's freaking weird I tell you! For instance, last night Sarah Jessica Parker's character's computer, crashed and she hadn't backed up any of her files or systems. And today, Claudia bought a new laptop and said she needed some help setting it up. What she really needed help with was backing up all of the main systems onto disks. Normally, I would have said that she didn't need to bother with it, but it is a Windows system, so we started on it anyway.
And then there's various other things that can be related to from "Sex and the City", but I'm not up to going into all that at the moment.
I got my SAT scores from the last test, and it's outrageous. I mean, I did better, a surprisingly large amount better, in fact, on my Critical Reading and Writing scores. I did 100 points better on my Critical Reading and 90 points better on my Writing. But only 40 points better on my Math scores. What. The. Frick. (!!!) That's the one I got tutoring for, dang it! I hardly even read those SAT vocabulary books that Mom wanted me to read. And I still did a whole lot better! What's even worse is that colleges don't count the Writing score, because they don't know what the national average is yet, and that's the section I did the best on. ARRRRRRRRRGGGG!!!! At least my score qualifies me for the bare minimum SAT Scholarship for SCAD. I suppose that's something.
I hate research papers, but I'm excited about shooting for fashion photography.
By the way, why is Livejournal's spellcheck for "ARRRRRRRRRGGGG" "CRACKERJACK"?
