Sad Again
Another very sad day for those who attended Queens (College) University of Charlotte. Yesterday the world lost an AMAZING man. Dr. Billy O. Wireman, passed away after a battle with cancer.
Billy O will forever be a man that I will not forget. He was a man who cherished every moment. I was fortunate enough to travel abroad with Billy O. He was amazing...he constantly spoke to people despite the language barrier. He was just interested in what others had to say. There were many lunches where we were accompanied by the infamous Billy O. He would join us at our lunch table and just ask us what was going on in our lives. He wanted to know...and was interested in what we had to say.
I for one, am very saddened by the death of this man. While I cannot attend the funeral, I will be there in spirit and his spirit will live on in every student that was fortunate enough to cross paths with him.
