[She's sitting on a bench somewhere in a little park next to the waterfront, and is knitting. It's not really apparent what she is knitting so far, but it is clear that she's doing it with a lot of expertise and skill

[OH GOD NEARLY JUMPING OUT OF HER SKIN Finland is one of the last people that she would have expected here. Not that she wants her gone, no, never! But she certainly did not think- how did she-
Cue turning around to stare up at the smaller woman with one of the scariest looks that she has ever displayed outside of battlefields and conference rooms. Confusion, hope despite hope, nervosity, hurt, and too many other feelings just do not mix well or make it easier to show any other reaction.]
[NOW SHE'S NEARLY JUMPING OUT OF HER SKIN TOO. And flinching quite visibly instead of literally jumping. Which is probably a good thing, but never mind that.
Oh, and please don't mind the fact that her voice is rushed. It doesn't mean anything, really! She's not scared or anything!]
[Which in turn makes sweden jump to her feet and- and- and she really wants to rush over and hug her wife Finland, make sure that she is well and see if she just hurt herself or what happened and-, but...
Instead, she takes a hesitant step forward and reaches out with one hand to steady the other Nordic, trying very hard to make a reassuring face. Sometimes the good will does not help much.]
[At least it's a good thing that Finland's gotten used to reading Sweden's eyes over the years.... for the most part. When she's brave enough to make eye contact for more than a few seconds, of course.]
I'm fine! Really, I am!
[Calm down, calm down.... Sweden doesn't mean any harm, no matter what it may look like!]
[She lets go of Finland and pushes the the piece of knitwork which displays the beginning of a complicated pattern to the very side of the bench, gesturing for the other nation to take a seat next to her.]
[Well, that too - Sweden the person is rather glad that one person who she knos as trustworthy and responsible is with her former wife, even though Sweden the nation is not allowed to care.
[She manages not to show any reaction, only nod and look away, towards the water. While she would like to say that she's glad that Finland seems to be doing well, she cannot make herself, and saying that she misses the other woman? That is neither appropriate nor something that she could ever word right.]
[Distraction go! ...Just that there is really nothing right now that she could be looking at reasonably, right now there is nobody, not even any boats or ships out there, and the men with the fishing rods have decided to disappear behind some trees so it cannot even be them...
...
Should she simply say that she has no idea how to handle this? That will make it more awkward even. Say that she missed Finland? No, she discussed this with herself before.]
What are you making, Swe?
