[She's sitting on a bench somewhere in a little park next to the waterfront, and is knitting. It's not really apparent what she is knitting so far, but it is clear that she's doing it with a lot of expertise and skill

[She nearly jumps out of her skin at the sudden voice - but no, it's not Denmark, there is no relentless teasing in store, so she only lowers the needles and looks up at the other woman, trying to figure out why she is here before really saying anything. Has she come for trade talks, or for a casual chat, or... it should be approached different, if it is.

In the end, Sweden gives the younger female a short nod. That seems to be the safest way of greeting that won't be wrong in either case.]

So what were you looking at? I wasn't over there, so it couldn't have been anything too interesting!

[She gestures towards the bench to distract the other woman, and also to be polite.] Sit, please.

[sheroic]

[ And so she sits. ]

Sitting on a bench knitting really makes you look like an old lady, y'know.

[She refuses the reflex to hide her knitwork and secondly the reflex to make a comment about drinking alcohol in public - this is not Denmark, even though there are certainly similarities - and only shakes her head.]

I am older than ya.

So? That doesn't mean you have to act like it. I mean, do you want to be like England?

No. I'm older.

[She is not sure what you are talking about, since... Denmark still acts like a 5-year-old after 2000 years and she is quite proud of being more mature than that. So... she does not see where America's problem lies.]
