reassurance in humanity.
So, yesterday i was transporting a bedframe with my bike, along the highway... and i got quite a few thumbs up, smiles and 'woohoo's from passerbys and drivers. this was not exactly the hand signal i was expecting as i set out with my two meter wide cargo (doesn't really work to strap it to the bike the "narrow" way, and sit on it?). just goes to show you that freiburg rocks. at least SOMEwhere in the world people aren't angry when others choose a bike over a car when either will suffice.
