White Oleander.
Last night I watched White Oleander. God it made me think. If anyone else has ever seen this film, please let me know what your views were. I think it was a stunning piece of work, very visual and thought provoking. The backdrop was suburban and idyliic, yet combined post modern slices just to drag the viewer back into "the real world" whilst keeping the pace very dreamy and introspective. I loved this film, and could identify with Astrid (lead character) very well. I dont pretend that I've been fostered to death because my mother killed someone, but the last line of the film almost had me in tears.
