Procrastination Facination

I don't know why I just "had" to rhyme the title, but I did.

Procrastinating from what? Getting my narrative done. I gave myself a deadline, which is tomorrow. I just don't want to do it. It's part of the evaluation process where you write a narrative about yourself at the beginning of the year. Then you have a discussion with the VP or principal about it. Fun times. Waste of time. Needs to be done though.

Today was a "Cold Day". Like a snow day except the buses get canceled because it is -40 outside. Meaning they may not make it all the way in or out from the surrounding area. Still expected to be in there today. Fun times were had.

Eight more teaching days.

Last night I came into my apartment and it was kind of chilly. I wondered if maybe I should finally turn on the base boards. Nope, the boiler in the building stopped working and needed to be fixed. My apartment is still on the cool side despite the base boards being up all the way. Everyone thinks I'm crazy when I tell them it's not that bad. There is no wind and the cold here is better than back in Ontario in that it is dry and doesn't get under your skin. That and I wear appropriate clothing to ensure I stay warm. Thank goodness for my lovely snow boots that are made for -40 weather. They've kept my feet nice and warm! I haven't even needed to put on a second pair of socks or anything either, which is awesome.

I seem to not be able to do without speaking with JM each day. I'm not liking how this is. It feels almost like an addiction. Bah.

I started writing this weird short story about a serial killer beaver puppet. A little bit Grimm Brother-esque in the fairytale department.

Eight more teaching days. Ten more days until Saskatoon. Eleven more until Toronto. Fourteen until Ott. Almost there.

jm, cold, writing, procrastinating, blah, weather, teaching, clothes, winter
