Silly mistakes and pizza
Hurray! I just read on BB that my literacy paper has been extended until week ten ... giving an extra two weeks to work on everything
Today got started on the senior phase ICT thing with C - we decided to do a theme on body image which is great because I can fit in a historical-socio-cultural aspect into it meaning our requirements of including both history and phys ed are complete. So now all I have to do is the research.
To me it is interesting .... I did not even know that there were so many different kinds of lesbians haha. It is very interesting to me.
We bought out plane tickets to go to Melbourne at the end of this month. I stupidly booked to come back on the Saturday instead of Fiday so had to pay an extra 30 to change the date to the day before. But it is still not bad. Found what seems like a decent hostel (as decent as you can get at a price that is not too expensive) in the CBD. So that's exciting. And only four person which is perfect for myself, AA, Boy E, and L. Just need to book the tickets to see "Wicked" as the call centre closes at around 5pm and by the time we were ready to call ... it was after 5. Oh well. Hopefully L will do that tomorrow.
Things are starting to look up. I think on Tuesday I am going to once again attempt to find the Queer Collective on campus and perhaps meet some new people. I hope I have the right week and it wasn't this week - they are not very good at providing accurate info on their site or the Student Guild Site ... Oh well ... We'll see next week, I guess.
The thing I find most interesting? That people assume I am "straight" but I'm not. I mean ... I like men but I also like women. It's really not a big deal. I just find it interesting how people just think of me as ... straight. Not another thought at all to anything else. I guess I just don't say either way. It's not that I am hiding it. I just don't really care at all if people percieve me one way or another. In another way it is too bad because maybe it hinders on me meeting some nice women. I don't know. Although the only people I seem to attract these days are sleazy man-whores.
I rented "Serendipity" tonight - but alas it is not working because of how scratched up it is.
I love how warm it is getting - I didn't even need a sweater tonight when I walked with L down to pick up some pizza from Eagle Boys. Tuesday is $5 night
AA found out her placement today - in a montessori school Hehe it will be very interesting considering she was given years 7-9. Yeah. The only reason she found out is part of the placement she has to do involves going to Melbourne for a week for some reason or another - although she has to pay for her way there and if she doesn't go then she must make up five days. So weird. Oh well. I wish I knew where my placement is because ... In two weeks the schools are on break until the term starts (the day of prac). Oh well. What can you do?
