this episode of xfiles is SO GOOD.
so right now i'm sitting at muff's, very angry, that someone would dare burn down the apartment during finals week.
i was upstairs painting naked,and smelled skanky smell. oh look! here comes some fire engines! the york (apartment building next door) must be burning down again. hmm, i can't tell where the little men are running to... danimal says he doesn't hear any alarms... oh, but now he's calling on the phone because he can't see in the stairwell there's so much smoke.
i grabbed the cat and headed out just as firemen were pounding on the neighbors door to tell everyone (door to door, no alarm, thank you) to get the hell out of the building. there was smoke up on the 8th floor. i ran down the stairs till the 4th floor, then it got pitch black. and i didn't think falling and killing the cat was a good idea. it was so dark i had to rub my feet out in front of me to make sure i could find the edges of the steps.
eh
so now i'm waiting over here, on the day i have left to paint. and not getting my painting done.
poor mu. gah. i have so much work and no wayyyyy toooo dooo itttt.
