(no subject)
Its been awhile to say the least. I seem to do this, drop off the face of the earth for awhile now and then. Truth be told, I have been very busy. I had about 4 months that were completely life altering. A bit stressfull still, but managable. In june I took a good fall and shattered my ankle severing my achilles requiring surgery and casting untill the begginning of October. In that time period my mother passed away, I lost my job, and I embarked on the path for a new career - the one I always wanted!! I am currently back in school upgrading, hoping to be accepted for college in the coming fall for nursing. It has been a time of great sorrow and great joy co-mingled. I started school a month and a half behind all of the other students, so I have had to work extra hard to catch up, maintain good grades, and have everything still sink in at the same time. I am currently holding 91% in biology, 89% in english and 83% in math. I am hoping to be able to continue to get grades this good into my final exams.
I havent finished packing up my mothers house yet. I dont think I was quite ready for it when I went over last time, because when I left, I was crying so much I accidently ran a red light and ended up with a $300.00 fine - talk about adding insult to injury on top of everything - and it just happened to be the day that my job was also terminated. I suspected the ticket would be coming, but I had forgotten all about it untill I picked up my mail this last friday, and low and behold - there it was. A nice christmas present for me!! If that wasnt bad enough for my weekend my washing machine cratered and I had to buy a new one (thank god for credit cards!) - but - it wont be here untill at least the 15th of the month. By then I should have enough laundry to keep me busy for a month.
Life never seems to be dull for me - but just once - I sure would like it to be!!
But I suppose......I just thought I would update quick - must get my nose back in my books - then hit the sack.
