Actress Kirstie Alley had passed away two days ago on December 5, 2022. She died of cancer at the age of 71. Although more known for her roles in "LOOK WHO'S TALKING", "STAR TREK II: THE WRATH OF KHAN" and "THE LAST DON", along with her role in "CHEERS" for which she had won both Golden Globe and Emmy awards; Alley is best known to John Jakes fans for her portrayal of the fierce abolitionist, Virgilia Hazard in the 1985 miniseries, "NORTH AND SOUTH", and the 1986 sequel, "NORTH AND SOUTH: BOOK II".
