Mini-fill, The Day Loki Accidentally Redeemed Himself

Tony Stark had only had one pet. It's death had been at the hands of his father, who had put vodka in its water bottle when drunk. Tony had never quite forgiven him - not that his father hadn't done worse, but the offer to buy a new one only intensified a deeper level of hate. The body of said pet was still in a makeshift cryogenic chamber in Stark International's Headquarters, something Pepper told Tony's therapist with no small amount of concern.

He tried not to think about it; one of his earliest failures in life was not protecting his guinea pig. He couldn't even save a rodent. That was how pathetic he was, how worthless all his science and technology was. He pushed thoughts of that poor trusting, cuddling animal away when they surfaced.

And he really ought to have been yelling at Loki that messing with the interdimensional portal when it was in beta was dangerous.

But among the flock of cats, cheerful frolicking dogs, scurrying fancy rats and flood of chirping birds, there was a familiar caramel colored form running towards him on stubby legs, chocolate eyes wide.

"Professor Fluffers!" Tony cheered, and instantly he forgave the god of mischief for ruining his invention. In fact, after this day he would welcome the man with open arms and frightening amounts of friendliness. When they got back to Midgard, Tony was in the midst of hugging the other man.

But for now, it was time to careful scoop the good Professor up in his armored hands and try not to cry.

Everybody asks if you're a cat person or a dog person. I'm a guinea pig person. They make everything cuter with their mere presence.

That's so true (why no, I don't have several pics of my guinea pigs (who are all dead now unfortunately ;A;) in my room because THEY'RE SO DARN CUTE) *brofist* Guinea Pigs >>>>>>> everybody else.

I still have photos of my pigs. Sir Swirly and Scooter O'Boots. Each were my best friends and their cuteness melted my otherwise hardass unloving father. *brofist* G-Pigs for life, man.

Daw, cute names. Mine (and my brother´s) had pretty normal names. Piccolo and Alex and Kai and Sammy... Everybody should have a guinea pig. The world would be a better place.

My brother has a guinea pig named Sproing who likes to get up on his hind legs and try to climb things. It never works, but it's hilarious. Everyone needs a pet to brighten up their day. It just makes everything better.

Also Piccolo = awesome.

OMG, that's so cute! (Sproing = from Pokemon?)

Piccolo was awesome. He in the garden in his cage, sees a cat, "OMG cat 8D", runs towards it, cat: "Ho shit!", and flees. And he was always the boss of the gang :D

He doesn't play Pokemon, so I don't know. He wanted to name it Blueberry. He's not a highly logical person.

Our neighbor's dog always wanted to lick the pigs. Then she'd try to get them to nurse. They were very confused.

Blueberry is awesome. I was already contemplating if I should name my next guinea pig after food as well XD If find it just irrationally funny. /is strange

Lol. Our cat (which we got much later than the pigs) tried to clean Alex as well. He found it a bit uncomfortable, I believe XD Which kinda reminds me of this pic XD

Tiny Tony made a cryo chamber in the den. With a box of scraps. And then he locked Howard out of his office because he's a meanie head.
